People First: MLA Bani Dr. Rameshwar Singh Sets an Example of True Public Service

Immediate relief during disasters, months of salary donated to the public—Bani witnesses a new wave of development

Setting a remarkable example of dedication and public service, MLA Bani, Dr. Rameshwar Singh, continues to stand firmly with his people, addressing their concerns and extending help in every possible way. His clear belief is that the public comes first, and he consistently demonstrates this through his actions.

Recently, due to heavy rainfall, two houses were damaged in Panchayat Chandal and Panchayat Bulari. As soon as the information reached him, the MLA promptly dispatched his team to the affected areas. Immediate financial assistance was provided to the families, along with essential ration supplies to support them during this difficult time.

In another unfortunate incident, where a house was damaged due to fire, the affected family was also given ₹10,000 as immediate relief, along with adequate ration support arranged on the spot.

Dr. Rameshwar Singh has also urged the administration to release relief funds at the earliest so that the affected families can receive long-term support and rebuild their lives without delay.

Emphasizing his people-centric approach, he stated, “We will neither raise the flag of any party nor chant slogans in anyone’s favor. For us, the people are supreme.”

To further encourage a spirit of service among his workers, he has announced a unique initiative: any worker who contributes the most to public welfare will be rewarded with ₹10,000 per month.

What makes Dr. Rameshwar Singh truly stand out is that he has become a role model for MLAs across Jammu & Kashmir. During the time when the region faced continuous heavy rainfall and flood-like situations, he selflessly dedicated five to six months of his salary to the people. This gesture not only highlights his compassion but also defines the true responsibility of a public representative.

Bani, a region that had witnessed little to no development over the past 10 to 15 years, is now undergoing rapid transformation. Earlier, the area lacked proper roads, had no municipal office, and did not even have a basic bus stand. Today, development projects worth crores are being implemented, bringing visible change to the region.

Local residents express that after a long time, they have found a representative who truly understands the value of their vote and stands with them in every hardship.

This strong example of service, dedication, and integrity proves that a true leader is one who stands with the people in every situation. MLA Bani Dr. Rameshwar Singh is not only transforming Bani but is also redefining the standard of leadership across Jammu & Kashmir.
