20 bovines rescued; truck seized in Jammu’s Bishnah

JAMMU: Jammu police tightening its noose against bovine smugglers under operation Kamdhenu Police team of Police Station Bishanh has foiled one bovine smuggling attempt in which 20 bovines were rescued from vehicle truck bearing registration number No. HP73 3535 which was coming Jammu towards Kashmir valley and when reached at Naka Avtara Chak, the driver of the vehicles fled away from the spot after taking advantage of the darkness. The whole operation was conducted under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura and SP HQ Jammu.


In this regard, a case FIR No. 07/2025 U/S 305/3(5),125,132 BNS, 11/PCA ACT has been registered in Police Station Bishnah.
Further investigation is underway.
