Jammu, 30 July 2025: Jammu Police has completed proclamation proceedings under Section 84 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) against three absconding accused persons involved in case FIR No. 14/2025 under sections 103(1)/3(5)/49,/111(2) (a) of BNS and 3/4/25 of the Arms Act, registered at Police Station Nowabad.
The accused persons, who are evading arrest, have been identified as:
1. Vikas Slathia @ Vicky @ Vicky Khauff, S/o Ravinder Singh Slathia, R/o Mandi Gharota, Gurha Slathia , A/P- Gurha morh, Vijaypur, District Samba – (Kingpin).
2. Vikramjeet Singh, S/o Malkit Singh, R/o Village Fatehpur, Chabal Road, Amritsar (Punjab), A/P Narwal Pain, Satwari, District Jammu – (Shooter).
3. Bodh Raj @ Guggi , S/o Late Som Dutt, R/o Village Shehzadpur, Tehsil Ramgarh, District Samba.
As part of the legal process, notices under Section 84 BNSS have been pasted at their respective residences. Public proclamation was also carried out by way of drum beating and announcements in their native localities, directing the accused persons to appear before the Court and join the investigation.
Police have appealed to the general public that anyone having information regarding the whereabouts of these absconders may inform the nearest police station. Strict action as per law will follow against anyone found harbouring or assisting the absconders.
The proceedings of Proclamation were carried out by the Police teams led by PSI Vikrant Kotwal & PSI Aziz Tariq of PS Nowabad at Satwari, Gurha Slathia , Ramgarh and Amritsar under the supervision of SHO PS Nowabad, DySP Hqrs Jammu, SP City North and under Overall supervision of Worthy SSP Jammu.
