Samba, July 31, 2025: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized seven vehicles including six dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba and Ghagwal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Samba, SHO PS Ghagwal, Incharge of Police Posts Supwal & Mansar of PS Samba and Incharge Police Post Rajpura of PS Ghgawal while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized six dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21G-9922, JK21F-6718, JK08M-0630, JK08P-8799, JK08F-1273, JK21G-7327 and a tractor trolley bearing registration number JK21A-0291 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
