Restoration works on three important roads in the area—Dagar Road, Brahmatta Road, and Aath Sau Shasta Road—were formally inaugurated. Lakhs of rupees have been sanctioned for these projects to restore the roads that have been in poor condition for a long time, providing relief to the general public.
During the program, it was announced that approximately 80 lakh rupees have been approved for Dagar Road, approximately 60 lakh rupees for Brahmatta Road, and approximately 80 lakh rupees for Aath Sau Shasta Road. It was also announced that several other major development projects will be initiated in the future, some of which will cost crores of rupees.
On this occasion, the names of the contractors for the respective roads were also publicly disclosed so that the public is fully aware of who is carrying out the construction and restoration work on which roads. Speakers stated that the primary purpose of naming contractors was to maintain transparency so that if questions arise about the quality of work in the future, responsibility can be fixed and the relevant individuals can be sought.
The program also clarified that all development work in the Bani area will be carried out with complete transparency and accountability. Responsibility for both officials and contractors will be fixed, and negligence or corruption will not be tolerated. Local residents were also urged to monitor development projects and immediately report any substandard materials or low-quality work to departmental officials or public representatives.
Speakers emphasized that public funds are being invested for public development, and any irregularities will not be tolerated. They instructed departmental officials to continuously monitor all work and issue a satisfactory quality certificate after each road project is completed. It was also clarified that payments to the contractor will not be released until a satisfactory report on the quality of any work is received.
During the program, the previous work of some contractors was also praised. It was stated that those who have previously delivered high-quality work, even under difficult circumstances, are playing a crucial role in Bani’s development and deserve respect. On the other hand, it was warned that contractors who neglect development projects or perform shoddy work will face strict action, and if necessary, they will even be blacklisted.
The speakers clearly stated that their goal is not to harbor personal grudges against anyone, but to develop the Bani region. Anyone who works with honesty and responsibility will be respected, but anyone who attempts to tamper with Bani’s development will not be spared under any circumstances.
